The United States Embassy in Mexico will launch a series of auctions with low-cost products so you can renovate your home or office, as well as get a new television or stove with second-hand products that meet your needs.
The embassy’s online auction allows you to buy lots with products obtained by the authorities that can be given a second use.
It should be noted that from the moment you buy the lot you can know the condition of the products, and if you consider it feasible to obtain them for your daily life immediately or repair them and have quality products cheaper than they would normally cost.
Nogales, Monterrey, Ciudad Juárez, Tijuana and Mexico City are the cities where the products are found, and if you buy online from anywhere in the country you can go to the American embassy to obtain them.
The auction will begin this Thursday, September 12 and will run until Monday, September 16. Some of the lots include packages of up to 60 wooden chairs for a starting price of 5 thousand pesos, garden tables and chairs for a thousand pesos, packages of boxes and mattresses for 800 pesos or office supplies such as shelves and desks with a television included for a thousand pesos.
Mattresses, armchairs, wooden furniture and even a Toyota Rav 5 car are also offered for 20 thousand pesos, which has a series of faults that can be repaired.
How to buy the products offered at auction by the United States Embassy in Mexico?
If you are interested in participating in one of the auctions organized by the United States Embassy in Mexico, you must follow these steps:
Go to the website for the auctions of the American embassy.
Select the ‘register’ option located at the top right of the page.
Fill in the registration details and confirm it in your email.
Once your account is confirmed, log in.
Click on the city that interests you, remember that you can also buy in other countries.
Check the lot that interests you and open it. Finally, select the subscribe button to start bidding.
If you win the auction, the embassy will offer you a platform to make transfers and thereby pay the amount you bid.
Afterwards, you must complete the necessary paperwork to make the purchase official.
