Mexico will celebrate national fashion soon. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico (MBFWMx) platform shared the first images of the campaign for a new edition, to announce the date of the local fashion week, which returns to spaces in Mexico City.
“This edition is articulated around a concept that transcends trends: ‘0003’, inspired by the three fundamental pillars that define the essence of Mercedes-Benz: performance, luxury and timelessness, and which becomes a statement of style, power and elegance,” they say in a press release.
The Mercedes-Benz car company promotes Mexican fashion and establishes a unique and committed collaboration with design every year. The next edition of MBFWMx is inspired by three of its vehicles.
“Accompanying this new edition comes 0003, the official campaign of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico where the elements dialogue in an urban and colorful environment to show their renewed attributes: the new GLA 35 AMG, the EQA and the EQB,” they detail.
In addition, they establish the relationship between cars and fashion: “These models not only represent the new chapter of Mercedes-Benz, but they reflect a vision focused on detail and design in its purest form. Each model captures a statement of urban style with volumes and silhouettes that redefine what we conceive as Mexican fashion in 2024.”
In luminous scenes of this visual proposal, the luxury of cars and the creativity of Mexican fashion stand out. For the looks of this proposal, local brands Edher Gin, Caballería, Ayanegui, Cruda (of Costa Rican origin, made in Mexico), María Ponce, Norte, and the Italian jewelry firm Bulgari collaborated.
When is Fashion Week in Mexico?
The new edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico will take place between October 15 and 18 in Mexico City. The names of the designers who will be present at this national fashion event will be confirmed shortly.
