There is a possibility that Chinese companies will invest in the state, as well as in other states of the Republic, revealed the governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo.
He explained that there has already been an important approach and there are “incentive letters”, which beyond the fact that it means having the land to build, it is about generating scholarships for young people and creating training.
Regarding the company in question, he did not give details, but said that it is dedicated to the manufacture of electric cars and wants to set up in the country, considering Guanajuato, to have its plant, which would supply Central America and South America.
He added that it will not be his responsibility to make the investment, but to attend to the businessmen and remind them of the benefits of coming to Guanajuato.
Diego Sinhue said that attracting foreign investments was a pillar of his administration, as well as all the efforts made, such as having completed the bidding for the Silao-San Miguel de Allende highway.
He said he is proud of what has been achieved, of the work of his cabinet, and people have shown him that they are pleased with that work, such as the creation of the Secretariat of the Environment and Ecological Territorial Planning, as well as the Secretariat of Migrants and International Liaison.
Finally, he insisted that the work is constant and should continue with the next administration, applying his own vision.
