The Monterrey businessman José Ángel Dávila Bernal was reportedly shot in the head, according to obtained data.
The fatal attack on the businessman occurred at Plaza Royal Campocielo, located at the intersection of the Industrial Park and Dzityá, between the last minutes of Saturday and the first minutes of Sunday.
What did the attacked businessman in Mérida die from?
According to the obtained information, the official cause of death, following the necropsy protocol performed on the body, was “craniocerebral trauma secondary to a gunshot wound.” In other words, the luxury car businessman died from a gunshot wound to the head.
So far, no names have been officially mentioned as responsible in the ongoing investigation. However, since Sunday, it has been reported that elements of the State Investigation Police have detained two people who may be involved in the businessman’s homicide.
According to a state police bulletin, the man was transported to a hospital in a family vehicle, where his death was later reported.

It was learned that the body has already been handed over to his family. So far, the authorities maintain total secrecy about the incident and have not revealed the motive for the attack. However, the victim had been involved in several legal processes accused of fraud and proceedings in commercial courts.
In 2022, he was attacked by another businessman at the Country Club of Mérida.
