Three people were deprived of their freedom in Mazatlán this Monday

The Municipal Public Security Secretary, Jaime Othoniel Barrón Valdez, confirmed the deprivation of liberty of three people in Mazatlán.

The police chief said that the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 23 in the Constitución neighborhood.

The victims were reported to be two men and one woman.

“We have the report of the deprivations, they were attended to by the Public Security elements and the people were advised to formalize and ratify the corresponding complaint, the Prosecutor’s Office is the one that is carrying out the investigation, we are focusing on the search,” he said.

Rehabilitation center

Barrón Valdez reported that reports have been received of alleged deprivations of liberty of inmates of rehabilitation centers, but none confirmed, although he said he did not know if there is a complaint before the Prosecutor’s Office for this crime.

The State Public Security Secretariat also confirmed the deprivation of liberty of three people from this municipality; it was indicated that the Municipal Police attended and the State Attorney General’s Office took charge.
