The mayor of Coyuca de Benítez, Ossiel Pacheco Salas, reported on a road closure resulting from the rising water from John’s rains; it is located in the community of Los Cimientos, Pénjamo.
The road collapse was reported on Friday morning, which was specifically located at the height of the “Los Manantiales” Motel.
Pacheco Salas reported that an emergency team has already been deployed to the site, and work is also being done to establish alternate routes and he promised to report any progress.
He asked the population to take extreme precautions and avoid passing through the area for their safety.
