Reporta SSP dos muertos en la Mazatlán-Durango, uno en Culiacán, y un policía de Mazatlán desaparecido

The Sinaloa Public Security Secretariat confirmed that on Thursday they found two dead men on the Mazatlán-Durango highway, so they closed the road.

The authority detailed that they found two dead men at the height of the exit of the El Sinaloense bridge, and the three levels of government came to protect the scene.

However, the highway is not cleared, since the passage is intermittent, in addition to the fact that Caminos y Puentes Federales keeps the Coscomate toll booth closed.

On the side of the state of Durango, in the Pueblo Nuevo community, the burning of a trailer and the blocking of the road with a couple more were reported, in addition to tire-puncturing bombs thrown by armed groups.

Within the report, the state SSP included the discovery of a lifeless man found near the Ejido El Melón, south of Culiacán.

They also recorded the reappearance of a man who was deprived of his freedom last weekend, without giving details about it.

Finally, the agency added to the report the disappearance of an active element of the Municipal Police of Mazatlán.

This consolidated report was released by the Social Communication department of the Secretariat of Public Security at 6:55 p.m. this Thursday.

Minutes after this statement, a shooting attack was recorded against a man in the Lázaro Cárdenas neighborhood, in Culiacán, who lost his life upon arriving at a hospital.

This victim allegedly resisted an attempt to deprive him of his freedom by an armed group, when the deceased was at a car wash.
