A roadblock with at least five burning trailers is currently reported on the Mazatlán-Culiacán highway. The National Highway Guard issued the alert.
“Avoid the area. In Sinaloa, the total closure of traffic continues due to burning vehicles near kilometer 103 of the Mazatlán-Culiacán highway,” the corporation posted a few moments ago at 7:32 AM this Saturday morning.
The Sinaloa Public Security Secretariat also posted on the social network X:
“Informing that elements of the National Guard Road Division, in coordination with police forces, are working to remove some units blocking traffic on the Mazatlán-Culiacán Maxipista, at the height of Elota, in both directions.”
They also report that there is a unit blocking the road to Potrerillo del Norote.
“There is a unit on the way to Potrerillo del Norote. Work is being done at that point to clear the road.”
It was reported that there was a confrontation in that area, in Boscoso.
