The 2024 edition of the Querétaro Marathon is more than ready and the runners are preparing for what will be the delivery of kits at the Expo Querétaro Marathon, which will take place on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 at the Querétaro Congress and Convention Center facilities, where a great atmosphere is expected, in addition to the fact that as in previous years, children’s races will be held, where 500 children of different ages will participate.
For this edition, the organizers of this great sports event of our entity, announced that there will be some changes, both in the distribution of the stands of those dedicated to the sale of products for runners, as well as with a space in which conferences will be given at different times, in addition to the fact that many of those who sell products will have some promotions, as well as several businesses who have announced promotions for those who signed up for this event.

CHANGES IN THE MARATHON EXPO
Abel Magaña said that these changes were made in response to the suggestions made by some runners, as well as the media, so they assured that it will be a very important experience for everyone, so now it will be something different and they hope that all attendees will enjoy this start of the sports festival, so the changes will be from the entrance.
“The changes at the Expo were made based on suggestions from the media and other people, mainly runners, to make the experience at the Expo more pleasant, so we made a change in the area where the stands where people sell their products are. Before, it was the last thing people saw and now they can see them from the entrance to the Expo. The experience area has also been moved.”
CONFERENCES
In addition to the new distribution of the stands, the experience area will be different and will host conferences and talks given by different personalities, from the promotion of organ donation and transplants, to influencers who will talk about how to start running and what they have done, as well as the director of the Institute of Sport and Recreation in the State of Querétaro (INDEREQ), Iridia Salazar Blanco and the marathon runner Germán Silva.
“In the experience area, there will be conferences throughout Friday and Saturday with people who are dedicated to running, with people who are helping us with organ donation and transplants, as well as talks by influencers who tell you how to run, talk with Dr. Agustín Mendoza on the topic of taking care of yourself, Iridia Salazar, Germán Silva, and different personalities will be there.”
THE LARGEST EXPO
Abel Magaña reiterated that the Querétaro Marathon Expo is the largest, even larger than the one in Mexico City, so they expect to receive between 50 and 60 thousand people during the two days that the activities will be at the Querétaro Congress Center, because without a doubt, in addition to the runners, many will want to attend the talks that are prepared throughout the day with the different guests.

“The Querétaro Marathon is a very large expo, even compared to the Mexico City Marathon, which is the largest event in our country, so we expect 50,000 or 60,000 people to join us during the two days that the expo lasts, but above all to attend the talks that the personalities will be giving.”
CHILDREN’S RACES
As in previous years, the children’s races will be held on Saturday morning in the parking lot of the Congress Center, reiterating that for this edition 500 free tickets were given out to promote this event among children, so their activities will be on Saturday morning
“The children’s races will also be at the Congress Center, they will be very early on Saturday, so many people can go running and from there they can get off to pick up their kit and live the whole experience, the children will pick up their kits on Friday preferably so that they arrive directly to participate in their distance, although they will also be handed out that day very early before the little ones start their race.”
With this, everything will be ready for what will be the 2024 edition of the Querétaro Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, October 6 from 6:00 a.m., so they reiterated the invitation to the population to come out to support the runners of the different distances, such as 5, 10, 21 and 42 kilometers

As in previous editions, this year some of the shops and even hotels have announced that they have some promotions for runners who signed up for this sporting event, so that they can enjoy preferential prices before and, in some cases, after the event, while in the case of hotels they are focused on foreign runners, so that they can calmly enjoy this experience.
