A family was robbed of their vehicle by armed men while traveling on the Mazatlán-Culiacán highway on Sunday night.
Information from the National Guard establishes that the robbery occurred at kilometer 47 of the toll road.
Elements of the federal corporation are already patrolling the area to find the vehicle and the armed group.
The area where the incident occurred is located 3 kilometers from the Las Labradas junction, San Ignacio.
So far it is unknown where the family was traveling.
In that area there have been blockades in recent weeks as a result of clashes between factions of the Sinaloa Cartel.
