The Ministry of Health reported that tomorrow, Wednesday, October 2, fumigation against dengue will be carried out in 27 colonies and/or towns in Colima, Armería and Manzanillo, to reduce the density of the mosquito that transmits it and the risk of infecting the population.
In Colima, nebulization will be applied in the following colonies: Bosques del Sur, Nuevo Milenio, Mirador de la Cumbre 1, Andares del Jazmín, Prados del Sur and La Albarrada.
In Armería, in Cofradía de Juárez, Periquillos and Flor de Coco.
The rest of the fumigation will be carried out in Manzanillo: Marimar, Aguazul, Miravalle, Valle Paraíso, Lomas del Carmen, Terraplena, Vista del Mar, Perla de Occidente, Bahía Azul, EL Jabalí, Porfirio Gaytán, San Isidro, La Cruz, Barrio Nuevo Santiago, Francisco Villa, Obradores, Camotlán de Miraflores and Punta de Agua de Camotlán.
The Colima Health Department urges the entire population to open the doors and windows of their homes or offices when the fumigation unit passes by, as well as to keep minors and elderly people away from the fumigation area and to move pets to the backyard of the home.
