All set! The ‘Marea Rosa Glow 5K’ race will be held at night this year in La Laguna and Durango

Like never before, Durango residents will live a magical experience by participating in the “Marea Rosa Glow 5K” race, which for the first time will be held at night and will take place in La Laguna and Durango on October 25 and 26, respectively.

This information was released by the president of the State DIF, Marisol Rosso Rivera, who shared that the money raised will go to the Breast Cancer Care Clinic, located within the State Cancer Center (CECAN).

When and at what time will the race be held in La Laguna and Durango?

Durango and La Laguna will be dressed in neon light in this edition of the Marea Rosa, since for the first time the route will be at night, said Rosso Rivera, reporting that in the Comarca Lagunera the race will take place on Friday, October 25; the start and finish will be at the Eiffel Tower located on González de Vega Boulevard in Gómez Palacio at 7:00 p.m.

In the capital of Durango, the race will take place on Saturday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m., taking place on Gómez Morín Boulevard. Accompanied by the head of the State Institute of Sports (IED), César Cárdenas Reyes, the President of the DIF said that this is a race of coexistence.

“It is 5 kilometers of pure fun, there will be a lot of security and we hope to break the figure of 800 thousand pesos from last year, in addition, it is a great opportunity to support our women with breast cancer,” she mentioned, sharing that the cost of the ticket will be 300 pesos and there will be a pre-sale from October 1 to 15 so that everyone can purchase their registration for 250 pesos.
Together with the Secretary of Health, Moisés Nájera, Marisol detailed that the money raised will be destined to the comprehensive care of patients in treatment, which is provided at the Breast Cancer Care Clinic at CECAN.
