With a new methodology, Expansión publishes its ranking of the 100 Most Important Businessmen in Mexico, which highlights the business people of the country.

Below we present the Top 10 of the 100 most important businessmen in Mexico

  1. Carlos Slim Helú

Engineer Slim currently presides over Minera Frisco, Cicsa and Inmuebles Carso. And he belongs to the Boards of companies such as América Móvil, Grupo Carso, IDEAL and Sanborns among others.

  1. Carlos Slim Domit

With a degree in Business Administration, Slim Domit is president of América Móvil, Grupo Carso, Grupo Sanborns, Telmex and Promotora Musical.

  1. Alejandro Baillères Gual

This businessman born in 1960 is the president of Grupo Bal, Industrias Peñoles, Fresnillo PLC, Palacio de Hierro, GNP, Grupo Profuturo, Profuturo Afore, Profuturo Pensiones, Tane and Electro Bal.

  1. Patrick Slim Domit

Son of Carlos Slim Domit, Patrick is the president of Grupo Telvista and Sears, but he is also co-president of América Móvil and Grupo Carso.

  1. José Antonio Fernández Carbajal

Born in 1959, Servitje Montull is the president of Grupo Bimbo. He also serves on the boards of Starbucks Corporation, the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness, The Global Consumer Goods Forum, Aura Solar and the Mexican Business Council.

  1. Armando Garza Sada

With studies at MIT and Harvard, Garza Sada is the president of Alfa, Alpek and Nemak. He also serves on the boards of Axtel, BBVA Mexico, Cemex, Grupo Lamosa, El Puerto de Liverpool, ITESM and the Mexican Business Council.
