This morning, the Baja California Environment Secretariat issued an alert for environmental pollution in Mexicali and Tijuana, declaring an orange alert.
This is due to what is considered an “extraordinary episode of pollution,” which can generate health risks.
Free internet initiative approved for Baja California
The state agency recommended that people with respiratory diseases and people over 60 years of age reduce their outdoor activities, in addition to reducing the use of vehicles and public transportation.
