San Luis Potosí Consolidates Itself as a Key Destination for Congresses and Conventions

The SLP Convention Center will host four religious assemblies in October, with the participation of more than eight thousand people.

The Government of San Luis Potosí reaffirms its commitment to the economic and tourism development of the state by consolidating the San Luis Potosí Convention Center (CCSLP) as an important meeting point for congresses and conventions. During October, the CCSLP will host four assemblies of a religious group, with the participation of more than eight thousand attendees, generating a significant impact on the local economy and the tourism sector.

This effort, promoted by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, is part of a strategy to strengthen meeting tourism in the state, which in turn supports Potosí families by attracting large-scale events. The assemblies will be held on October 18, 19, 26 and 27, providing a space for the spiritual and personal development of the participants, through speeches and social activities.

Yathziryy Viltales, director of CCSLP, highlighted that these events not only contribute to strengthening the meetings industry, but also promote tourism, generating opportunities for local commerce and reinforcing San Luis Potosí’s status as an epicenter for massive events of national and international relevance.
