Violeta Housing project for single mothers in BC begins

The Baja California government started the Violeta Housing project aimed at single mothers in vulnerable situations.

Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila announced that they started with 9 thousand houses on credit in Mexicali, without a down payment, a monthly payment of 3,900 pesos and without interest.

The benefit is for female heads of household with income who must sign a contract with the Housing Institute.

One of the purposes is to recover 12 thousand abandoned properties, which were assigned to Infonavit.

In addition, 16 thousand social level houses have been built within the State Housing Program, of which half have already been delivered.
