This Zombie Walk 2024 in Morelia will be about legends, with soldiers and live rock, it was announced at a press conference.
According to its organizers, prior to this event there will be a free workshop at the Colegio de Morelia on October 22, at 5:00 p.m., for which no experience is needed; this will have the purpose of allowing participants to put on makeup without help.
They also said that the main event, which is the zombie parade, will be on Saturday, October 26, after 6:30 p.m., with a starting point at Las Tarascas, to then arrive at the cathedral of Morelia.
On this occasion, up to 5 thousand “living dead” are expected to attend.
The event will start at 2:00 p.m. with different bands livening up the “Morelos” garden, then there will be a characterization contest, and at 6:30 p.m. the formation will begin to start the walk.
Those in charge also explained that this year the theme will be Mexican legends, such as “La Llorona” or “El Charro Negro.”
The contingents will include skaters, cars giving away candy, as well as zombies and participants from militarized schools, as well as a live rock band.
