Invites the people of Laguna to immerse themselves in a musical experience

With the goal of “reinventing his already released songs and promoting independent artists that are emerging in the Laguna Region,” the 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Torreón, Coahuila, Diego Reyes, better known in the local artistic world as D-Reyes, will offer a free concert tomorrow.

The event titled “The Comeback Experience” will take place at his alma mater, at the Braulio Fernández Aguirre Cultural Center in Ciudad Universitaria at 12 noon.

D-Reyes synergizes with his student life at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the UAdeC and his love for music.

He shared exclusively with El Siglo de Torreón that he has written approximately 45 songs, of which only 23 have been released on all digital platforms.

His melodies are very intimate creations. “I think my music can be defined as private, mainly because the lyrics are composed to empathize with listeners in situations of love, heartbreak, personal improvement or melancholy.”

And his inspiration comes from the love experiences he has lived throughout his life, using them as a catharsis.

One of his goals as a singer is precisely to share his thoughts with the public, so this October 15 he will fulfill it, accompanied by four musicians: a guitarist, a keyboardist, a bassist and a percussionist.

His biggest dream is “to be one of the recognized artists in the world of Mexican folk or alternative music.”

After tomorrow’s event he will not stop, as he has more personal projects in the pipeline, “especially the release of an upcoming EP album with a total of three songs, a full album with a total of 11 songs, several singles and possibly a tour throughout the Republic.”
