According to the National Meteorological Service, temperatures between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius are expected in Coahuila and Durango on Monday, with no chance of rain. However, a colder environment will begin to be felt in the mountainous areas of both states, as minimum temperatures of up to -5 degrees Celsius with frost are expected.

Coahuila and Durango have a varied climate that reflects the transition between the warm and cold temperatures typical of this season. In Durango, maximum temperatures are between 30 and 35 °C in the western part, while similar figures are reported in Coahuila. However, the night and early morning will bring us a cold environment, with minimum temperatures that can fall between -5 and 0 °C in the mountainous areas of Durango. This can generate frost at dawn, due to nocturnal radiation.
Wind is another key factor in today’s weather. In both states, the presence of northerly winds is expected with gusts that can reach 50 to 70 km/h.
Although the forecast for today indicates a mostly dry climate, there is a possibility of isolated rains in Durango, with accumulations ranging between 0.1 and 5 mm.
