Nuevo León is running out of houses… and if there are any, they are very expensive!

Are you looking to buy a new home in the state? Better prepare yourself because finding one will be a complicated task.

Also, if you manage to find an option you will come across quite high prices, since the little inventory that exists corresponds to houses valued at more than $4 million pesos.

And the fact is that the current inventory of houses in the state barely exceeds 8,000 units, considering all housing segments, when last year there were about 12,000.

The worrying thing, experts say, is that these figures remain far below the 70,000 homes required per year for the state, given the greater demand from residents and people who come to live in Nuevo León for work reasons.

“There is not enough inventory and it is in the different segments, so what is happening is that in the different affordable segments there is no more, that is going to be more complicated to develop every day. “So practically the inventory we have is in danger of extinction,” Ignacio Torres Zorrilla, general director of the real estate firm 4S Real Estate, told El Horizonte.

Separately, Javier Treviño, president of Canadevi, Nuevo León said that during this year the construction of houses in the state will continue with a clear downward trend.
