Three motorcyclists rescued in the mountains of Santiago, Nuevo Leon

Three motorcyclists lost in the mountains of Santiago, Nuevo León, with little water and food supplies, were rescued by elements of Civil Protection of the state.

The events were reported at 07:15 hours this Monday on the highway to Laguna de Sánchez and the highway to Cola de Caballo, in Ciénega de González.

The state agency received the report of the motorcyclists who went up to the mountains and were stranded, so a helicopter flight was carried out to look for them.

Thanks to the air operation, the motorcyclists were located and the unit’s personnel descended about 700 meters from the point where they were seen.

The elements continued in infantry to make contact with the lost people. At the site, the three people were assessed, who received hydration and continued in their vehicles to the Los Lirios community and left.

Elements of PCNL, a helicopter from the same agency and Civil Protection of Santiago were mobilized to the site.
