In which part of Mexico will firefighters be required to go to the gym every day?

Without a doubt, being a firefighter is one of the most demanding occupations, due to the physical demands of the job, which includes tasks such as fighting fires, rescuing people, lifting heavy equipment and moving quickly in emergency situations.

It is for the reasons mentioned above that firefighters should have constant physical training, which helps them have greater resistance, prevent injuries and be in an optimal state of health.

Thinking about the above, starting this week going to the gym will be mandatory for a division of firefighters in Mexico.

The measure will be applied in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, where firefighters will have to train in the gym every day.

The training will take place after they finish their work, as long as there is no emergency.

Saúl Robles, commander of the Mazatlán Fire Department, declared before the cameras of TV Azteca Sinaloa that it will be an obligation for firefighters at all levels. In addition, he commented that the main objective is for the personnel to develop habits that improve their health.

“It is for everyone, and Commander, we are all going to have to go to the gym. This is mandatory, it will be part of our daily work routine. We want them to be fit, mainly to take care of their health,” he said.

It is worth mentioning that firefighters will not have to pay a gym membership, but will be able to make free use of the facilities of a branch that established an agreement with Bomberos Mazatlán.
