“They are not alone in their search”: Mayor of Mazatlán arranges meeting with relatives of missing persons

As a sign of support for the families of missing persons, the mayor, Edgar Gonzalez Zatarain, announced that this Thursday at 9:30 in the morning, he will hold a working meeting with the deputy prosecutor for the South of the State, Jesus Arnoldo Serrano, in the City Council room.

To this end, the mayor invited the families to attend the facilities of the municipal palace in order to have contact with the official of the Vice Prosecutor’s Office for the southern zone.

Upon meeting with a group of citizens who have repeatedly made public the search files of their missing children, brothers, or husbands, the mayor reaffirmed his total support for the families of missing persons, as well as his interest in helping, as far as possible, in the search for their relatives.

Edgar Gonzalez assured them that they are not alone in their pilgrimage, where they fight to find their loved ones. On the contrary, he made it clear that the municipality is fully willing to collaborate in the search.

The people who are being sought are: Alejandro Trujillo Cruz, Emmanuel Garay Bernal, Miguel Ángel Valdez Macías, Jonathan Herrera Sánchez and Miguel Alejandro Valdez Maldonado, who were deprived of their freedom and are now being sought.
