2024 Archery World Cup to Close Streets in Tlaxcala; Find Out Which Ones

From Monday, October 14, until November 2, several streets will be closed to vehicular traffic due to the Archery World Cup; find out which roads will be restricted.

The City Council has informed about a series of surveillance and traffic control operations that will be implemented in the historic center of the city due to upcoming sports and seasonal events.

Starting Monday, October 14, several streets will be closed to vehicular traffic due to the Archery World Cup. The affected roads include:

* Porfirio Díaz Street at the corner of Muñoz Camargo.

* Morelos Street at the corner of Independencia.

* Lardizábal Street at the corner of San José Church.

* Lardizábal Street at the corner of Juárez.

On October 17, the closures will extend to:

* Guerrero Street at the corner of Independencia.

* Porfirio Díaz Street at the corner of Muñoz Camargo.

* Morelos Street at the corner of Xicohténcatl.

* Lardizábal Street at the corner of Juárez.

* Lardizábal Street at the corner of San José Church.

All streets are expected to be reopened on October 23. During this period, traffic operations and security measures will be maintained to facilitate vehicular flow and ensure the safety of pedestrians and event participants.

On October 25, due to the Fair Parade, Tepeticpac Boulevard will be closed at its intersection with Independencia Avenue from 1:00 PM to allow the entry of floats. The parade route will cover:

* Independencia Avenue.

* Constitution Plaza.

* Juárez Avenue.

* Guillermo Valle Boulevard (near the Tlahuicole Stadium).

On November 2, the traditional Catrinas Race will take place, starting from Ocotlán and ending at Adolfo López Mateos. Although the complete route is yet to be defined, the start is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

To reduce traffic disruptions, an alternative circulation plan has been established:

Vehicles entering via Ocotlán Boulevard can detour through Prolongación Guridi y Alcocer, Morelos (cobblestone), and Xochiquétzal.

Access to the city center can be made through Independencia Avenue, Guerrero, Allende, or Mariano Sánchez Boulevard.
