Liberado derecho de vía de 52 km en Hidalgo, donde pasará tren México-Pachuca: Planeación

The right of way within Hidalgo for the construction of the Mexico-Pachuca train is one hundred percent cleared; it consists of about 52 kilometers of state territory.

Miguel Ángel Tello Vargas, head of the Planning and Prospective Unit, indicated that after the start of the preliminary works of the train announced by the president of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the government of Hidalgo provides support.

He explained that the involvement of the state authorities is to support the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) and the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) in the needs they require.

STATE PROJECTS CLOSE TO THE TRAIN

“We are proposing a portfolio of projects that are required around the train, in cases where there has to be some type of leveling of the ground, where there have to be overpasses,” he commented.

They will also participate in places where the stops have signage and if it is required that in some towns there is some type of work, that is why they have coordination with the Railway Agency and Sedena.

In an interview with the media, he explained that according to a mobility study carried out by the state government, there are more than 50 thousand daily passengers who travel from Pachuca to Mexico City.

THEY WILL MANAGE MORE RELEASE IF REQUIRED

Tello Vargas commented that what at the time was conceived as the 30 meters that would be required for the train to be able to pass on the contemplated path, are already released.

“The right of way within the state of Hidalgo is one hundred percent released. About 52 kilometers within the Hidalgo territory that are already released,” he pointed out.

However, he said, in case Sedena requires a different need in the stops or in some sections with greater opening, the Planning Unit will have to carry out the process for the release of the road before the corresponding authorities.

FOUR STOPS; GOVERNMENT WANTS SIX

Regarding the stops, he commented that in Hidalgo four stops are contemplated and not in all the municipalities that it will pass through because they seek to avoid the urban areas growing in some points.

He explained that Sedena estimates that from Pachuca, making a stop at the AIFA and reaching Buenavista in Mexico City, it will take one hour and 20 minutes, but if more stops are made it will be slower.

He added that the state government made the proposal to add two more stops, which are those at Téllez and Platah, but it will be something that the federal government must validate.

He also announced that the state secretaries will meet next Friday to discuss the progress they have made regarding the train with Sedena and SICT.
