Jalisco records four deaths from dengue in one week; accumulates five in 2024

In epidemiological week 41, which includes October 7-13, four new deaths from dengue were recorded in Jalisco, which, in addition to the one reported since June, brings the total to five in the state.

According to the Jalisco Ministry of Health, of the four deaths recently reported, three are men aged 18, 63 and 22, and a 31-year-old woman.

The 18-year-old patient had the use of multiple drugs as a comorbidity and the 63-year-old suffered from diabetes. The four deceased were from Zapoltitic, Tlaquepaque and two from Guadalajara.

Remove all types of garbage or unusable containers such as cans, shells, tires, empty bottles and other objects that can store water.
Remove water from dishes placed under flower pots and plant holders, air conditioning or rain drain collectors, check inside and outside the house every two days, trying to throw water on the ground or floor, not in the drain.
Keep pools and other clean water deposits clean, chlorinated or empty.
Collaborate with municipalities during the tasks of mass elimination of breeding sites.
