The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Baja California Sur reported that it obtained a link to the trial against Jesús “N”, 24 years old, for his alleged responsibility in the disappearance of the young Yeimi Alondra “N”, 21 years old, who was reported missing on September 29 in Cabo San Lucas, municipality of Los Cabos.
It appears that the young woman was murdered, and her body was thrown into the sea, so the authorities are conducting search operations to locate the body. The Navy has joined the search for the victim’s body.
The PGJE of BCS reported that after the investigations, Jesús “N” was arrested on October 16 and in a hearing held on October 17, the Control Judge ordered preventive detention and granted four months for complementary investigation.
On the other hand, Deysi, mother of Yeimi Alondra, mentioned in a press conference that on October 17 she met with the prosecutor to whom she showed some videos where it is observed that her daughter left a bar in downtown Cabo San Lucas with a man, presumably Jesús “N”, heading to the marina of that tourist port, and entered the dock to go to a boat where they stayed for several hours.
However, before dawn, a boat approached the vessel, and the crew member and Yeimi’s companion supposedly loaded a bundle and headed out to sea to throw it with a weight so it would not float.
Additionally, she pointed out that bloodstains were found in the searches carried out on the boat.
In this regard, Deysi states that her daughter was murdered and thrown into the sea, so she implores the authorities for help to find her body.
“I ask for your help, she is a human being, not an animal, I cannot accept that my daughter was murdered, I need to see her body,” expressed the victim’s mother.
For its part, the PGJE reported that in the investigation file it is established that on September 29 of this year, Yeimi Alondra was reported missing to the PGJE by a neighbor.
Therefore, the Public Ministry agent of the mentioned Unit immediately began the investigation and search for the missing person, tracing the route taken by the victim after leaving a negotiation on the night of September 27, in the company of the accused.
As a result of the investigations, Jesús “N”, 24 years old, originally from Cabo San Lucas, was secured by Criminal Investigation elements of the Attorney General’s Office assigned to Judicial Orders, who executed the Arrest Warrant on October 16.
In the hearing to link to the trial by arrest warrant, held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, the Control Judge linked Jesús “N” to the trial, imposed the precautionary measure of preventive detention, and granted the Public Ministry agents a period of four months for complementary investigation.
Likewise, the solidarity support of the Navy was requested, whose elements are conducting the search for the victim’s body.
