The mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Luis Munguía, denounced that the previous administration left a host of irregularities that have affected the services of the people, for this reason he announced that in the next few days he will be filing the corresponding complaints against whoever or whoever is responsible.
“All kinds of problems without a doubt, issues of assets, in which deviations are identified, situations in which there are irregularities in retirement, in the unionization process of the workers there are also irregularities and already in these weeks we have the press conference ready to invite them to know figures and know the data precisely because we will be acting legally through the audit, of the different institutions and organizations dedicated to the investigation.”
Luis Munguía assures that there is a damage to the assets for more than one million pesos due to a fine from the CFE for improper acts of the previous administration, for which he accuses that this is one of many serious irregularities.
Although there are several problems facing the municipality, the mayor said that at least in the payroll issue they have complied so far and guarantees that the money of the municipal workers is safe.
Regarding the dismissals in the city hall, he said that they have been carried out in accordance with the law and that his government will maintain a light payroll to maintain healthy finances.
“In favor of another payroll issue, what we have done is to comply with the worker, also those who built their work in the municipal government were paid according to the law and everything is moving forward, what we did do was save by not hiring so many profiles that suddenly there is nowhere to put them, so we are only hiring the people we require for the service of the citizens.”
He said that the issue of services is difficult to solve, and assured that as the days go by he and his council will address the problems to give them a deep solution.
