Elements of the Mexican Army and the National Guard arrest Armando “N”, alias Delta 1, alleged leader of the CJNG in Jalisco and Michoacan

This Wednesday, Armando “N”, alias “Delta 1”, alleged leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel in Jalisco and Michoacan, was arrested.

According to the first reports, elements of the Army and the National Guard arrested him in the city of Guadalajara, without violence; drugs and weapons were seized from him.

Armando “N”, alias Delta 1” is considered the third commander of the CJNG in Guadalajara and the person in charge of the expansion of that criminal group in Michoacan.

This generator of violence controlled criminal activities in the Puente Grande penitentiary complex and was in charge of coordinating the cell of hitmen “Los Deltas” in the main municipalities of Jalisco, who are considered an extremely violent group, responsible for carrying out murders, kidnappings and extortions inside and outside of said entity,” highlighted the Secretariat of National Defense in a statement.

Armando “N”, as well as the detained items, were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office.
