This prestigious event features a challenging course from Los Barriles to Todos Santos, which will be attended by 500 competitors from 12 different nationalities.
International television networks such as ESPN and Disney Plus will provide global coverage of the event. The competition will start in Los Barriles and culminate in the picturesque town of Todos Santos, with participants spending two nights in the Sierra de la Laguna.
Notably, this edition of “Mar a Mar” boasts significant participation from Mexico’s 18 states, with almost 500 competitors representing diverse nationalities.
According to authorities at the Secretariat of Tourism and Economy of Baja California Sur, the event is expected to generate an estimated economic impact of approximately 10 million pesos. This influx of revenue will directly benefit local producers, tourism service providers, and ranchers who will host participants in camps, creating opportunities for regional economic growth.
