Antagonistic groups of organized crime unleashed a series of confrontations in the municipality of Zinapécuaro, Michoacán.
The shootout began early Friday morning, which, according to residents, lasted at least an hour.
One of the armed groups set fire to a van outside the Municipal Presidency.
In addition, they blocked access and placed “tire spikes” to prevent their antagonists from entering the municipal capital.
The series of confrontations caused panic among the inhabitants, who were caught in the crossfire.
