The history of Krispy Kreme: this is how the famous doughnuts were born
According to its official website, Krispy Kreme opened its doors for the first time on Tuesday, July 13, 1937 in North Carolina, under the command of Vernon Rudolph.
In the 1940s, seeking to expand the company throughout the southern United States, to maintain the flavor of the products, the company created its own manufacturing equipment.
A decade later, in the 1950s, they also established an original production system with the aim of unifying the production, flavor and distribution of doughnuts in all its branches.
In the mid-1990s, the company expanded to New York and California. In April 2020, they opened their first branch outside the United States, in the city of Toronto, Canada. They currently have an international presence in countries such as Turkey, Puerto Rico and, of course, Mexico.

Why are donuts so popular?
On the Quora platform, a user asked: “Do you love the sweet and fluffy taste of donuts?”, among the answers the following statements are read: “Of course and more with coffee in the morning”, followed by “Of course, they are very tasty”.
However, there are also those who do not really crave this food, for example, one user stated “I only eat a piece because I get sick very quickly” and “I try not to eat donuts, they are too many carbohydrates and calories.”
In the southern part of Tamaulipas, people who do enjoy taking a generous bite of a glazed sugar donut will probably be disappointed to know that Krispy Kreme Mexico announced that it does not currently plan to open a branch in Tampico, Tamaulipas. The good news is that, apparently, they are not ruling out the possibility in the future.
