The National Institute of Migration (INM) and the Government of Puebla will launch on November 28, the Special Winter Operation 2024 of the Héroes Paisanos Program, which will be in effect until January 12, 2025. This initiative is dedicated to receiving and supporting Mexicans who live abroad and visit Mexico during the Christmas season.
The INM commissioner, Francisco Garduño Yáñez, and the state governor, Sergio Salomón Céspedes Peregrina, will lead the starting flag in the Plaza Mayor del Zócalo of the Puebla capital, where representatives of the three levels of government and private and social sectors will attend.
This operation will have the participation of 40 federal, state and municipal agencies, extending across the 32 entities of the country with 226 service modules and the support of 479 citizen observers, who will provide support to our compatriots from their entry into Mexico until their departure.
As part of the program, 800,000 copies of the Héroes Paisanos Guide will be distributed in the United States and Canada, thanks to the support of the consular network; 790,000 copies will be in Spanish and 10,000 in English, providing useful information for a safe return.
For those who need assistance, the program also offers digital and informative support through the official website www.gob.mx/heroespaisanos, the 911 emergency line and the INM Telephone Service Center. In addition, the official social networks of the Héroes Paisanos Program on Facebook, X and Instagram will be active to answer questions and provide guidance during this season.
Remember that the Héroes Paisanos Program is active all year round, but during the Easter, Summer and Winter holiday seasons, special operations are implemented so that our compatriots who visit us, mainly from the United States and Canada, have a safe entry, journey and stay.
Dear fellow countryman, we work to provide you with a fast, effective and efficient service, always with quality and warmth.
