
An athletic race with a cause, the 5K Turkey Race, where all the money raised will be used to buy candy, toys and take it to children in vulnerable neighborhoods and towns.
Under the initiative of Comprehensive Community Physical and Sports Activity (Afdeico) led by Carlos Briseño, for this 2024, the Turkey Race will take place on December 22 at the Francisco Villa National Fair at 8:30 p.m.
For participants, the registration fee is 250 pesos, with the right to a shirt, a finalist medal, a commemorative mug, a participant number, hot punch at the end of the race, the right to participate in the raffles, hydration on the route and at the finish line, a cloakroom service and, above all, fun for children and adults. There will also be children’s races, a mini-athlon and an ice rink.
The first five runners to cross the finish line, both in the women’s and men’s categories, will be awarded a turkey.
Registrations can now be made at Coordillera Trek and Monchys Libertad.
For this reason, support is requested from sponsors with financial resources for the supplies and expenses of the organization and requirements of the race such as medals, staff, trophies, turkeys to raffle among the participants, articles to raffle among the participants, services to raffle among the participants.
