On December 13 and 14, the “Mar y Christmas 2024 Nautical Festival” will take place on “El Médano” beach and in the port area of Cabo San Lucas, which will offer attendees cultural activities and a popular festival in which artisans, indigenous communities, young people and civil associations will participate.
María de Jesús Cruz Medina, head of the Women’s Institute of the Municipality of Los Cabos (IMMLC), when indicating that one of the main axes of the festival will be the awareness campaign “Stop Violence”, highlighted the importance of this effort to raise awareness about acts of aggression against women.
At the press conference, it was emphasized that these actions are aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, specifically with regard to “Partnerships to achieve the objectives”.
During those two days, a festival will be held to support entrepreneurs, women, senior citizens and other sectors of the population. In addition, various municipal agencies will collaborate, such as Public Services, Civil Protection, Public Security, ZOFEMAT and the Institute of Culture and the Arts.
Finally, the municipal authorities of Cabo invited the community to participate and enjoy this festival that seeks to integrate culture with tourism and social awareness.
