Transporters who worked on section 7, front 2 of the Mayan Train partially block the Mexico Pachuca and Mexico Querétaro highways. According to a statement from the Association of United Transporters of the Mayan Train Section 7 Front 2, the transporters are asking for their overdue payments to be settled and to talk to the authorities.
“If we do not have any response, we will be waiting for Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, Constitutional President of the United Mexican States, during the inauguration of this great work, on December 15, 2024, closing the train tracks at the stations and stops,” she said in her message. According to the complainants, in some cases, the debt exceeds 100 thousand pesos.
