Given the increase in the number of motorists on the more than four thousand kilometers of the Jalisco state highway network due to the holiday season, the State Security Secretariat (SSE), in coordination with the National Guard, strengthened surveillance on the communication routes that connect with the main tourist destinations of the state.

The agency reported that the surveillance device established by instruction of Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro focuses on the Puerto Vallarta-Bahia de Banderas, Ocotlán, del Sur and Autlán Interstates, as well as towards Nayarit, Michoacán and Zacatecas, since it is expected that there will be a complementary presence in the 12 regions of the state.

The ground operational deployment has the objective of prioritizing the tranquility of the people of Jalisco in transit on the state highway network, since Jalisco is characterized by being one of the entities in Mexico that generates tourism and commerce, both national and international, so it is a priority that everyone arrives safely to their destinations.
