Four young men were arrested by the Municipal Police for shooting firearms in the Colonia Militar area of Yucatan. The incident occurred near 20th Street by 39th and 37th, causing a significant police response.
Neighbors reported that the four young men arrived at a barbershop and began firing shots. Witnesses also mentioned that the detainees were carrying a knife, heightening the tension and fear among those present.
According to the Municipal Police, the events took place at the “Barber Shop Studio.” An employee had invited his three friends to bring pistols to the business and shoot at fixed targets from the roof. Upon hearing and observing the gunfire, neighbors called 911, prompting agents from the Public Security Secretariat to respond and arrest the young men.
The arrested individuals were identified as Andrés F. F., Roberto M.B.P., and José L.L.A., all 18 years old, and Carlos E.R.D., 19 years old.
