2025 will be a year characterized by the start of construction of several public transportation lines in Mexico City.
Authorities have reported that in 2025 work will begin on three of the five Cablebús lines promised in the campaign.
The first three new cable car lines will be in:
Milpa Alta – Xochimilco
Tlalpan
Álvaro Obregón
They will have an investment of about 3.5 billion pesos.
Metrobús Zero Line
Construction will also begin on the Metrobús Zero Line that will run along the Inner Ring Road, which is a ring road measuring about 45.6 kilometers and connects with 10 of the 16 capital municipalities.
The project will be carried out with an estimated investment of one billion pesos.
Metro Line 1 and Metro Line 3
The government’s mobility program also includes the launch of Line 1 from Balderas to Observatorio and the start of rehabilitation work on Line 3 in the middle of the year.
