Ten more deaths from dengue are added in Jalisco to reach 66 deaths so far this year.
182 are still waiting to be confirmed or ruled out by the federal Ministry of Health, which also places Jalisco in first place for deaths from this disease in the country, Guerrero is in second place with 61 deaths.
Regarding new cases, 390 dengue patients are reported in Jalisco.
Of these, 155 are non-serious dengue, 219 cases with warning signs and 16 severe dengue, which means a considerable increase in patients with warning signs and serious.
At the end of the year, Jalisco has already surpassed 20 thousand cases, reaching 20 thousand 702 dengue patients, which keeps the state in first place by number of cases, leaving behind by far states such as Morelos, Guerrero and Nuevo León.
Nationwide, 124,418 confirmed cases of dengue have been recorded in 2024. Confirmed cases in Jalisco up to the penultimate week of the year represent 16 percent of the country’s total.
