Mayor Julio Arreola highlights that Pátzcuaro is an unrivaled Christmas destination in Michoacán and the pride of Mexico
Pátzcuaro, Michoacán.- The mayor of Pátzcuaro, Julio Arreola, highlighted the high influx of visitors during this Christmas season, positioning the municipality as one of the main tourist destinations in Michoacán and Mexico.
“We are proud that Pátzcuaro is a tourist reference point during these dates. Families from all over the country come to enjoy our culture, traditions and attractions, such as the monumental nativity scene and the giant tree in the Plaza Vasco de Quiroga, which this year have become a true symbol of Christmas. This success is a reflection of the work and effort of all the people of Patzcuaro,” said Julio Arreola, municipal president.
To ensure the mobility and comfort of visitors, the City Council has enabled alternative routes, such as access through El Manzanillal and La Era, in addition to promoting the use of parking lots located in areas close to the historic center.
“We want all our tourists to have a comfortable and pleasant experience. Therefore, we have reinforced the signage of routes and logistical support services, avoiding setbacks and prioritizing pedestrian mobility to enjoy the charm of the historic center,” added Arreola.
Arreola also highlighted the coordinated work with security and civil protection authorities to ensure the tranquility of visitors.
“We are committed to providing a safe environment for families to fully enjoy the magic and hospitality that make Pátzcuaro unique,” he emphasized.
Finally, Julio Arreola addressed a message to the citizens, highlighting the fundamental role of the people of Pátzcuaro in the success of this Christmas season. “Our people are the essence of this Magical Town.
