The Querétaro Municipal Public Security Secretariat received a total of 301 applications in 2024 to be part of the capital’s new Civil Guard, according to the head of the department, Juan Luis Ferrusca.
In his report for the first quarter of the administration, Ferrusca detailed that, of these records, 84 people have already been interviewed, while the rest are in the process of evaluation and confidence control exams.
“With regard to this call, it remains active, as of December 22, there is a record of 301 registered people who are in the pre-selection process by carrying out toxicological tests and then doing the control and confidence process,” he explained.
He recalled that the call will remain open until January 13, as well as that those selected will begin their training at the corporation’s training institute and are expected to begin their duties in April.
Finally, he recalled that it is planned to hire around 250 elements for this new corporation, as well as that the installation and first ordinary session of the Academic Council of the Police Institute of Higher Studies was also carried out with the purpose of installing and swearing in the members of this Academic Council.
