It is Casa Dom, a kind of vacation cabin, located in the middle of nature, surrounded by hills and trees that will allow you not only to rest, but to connect 100% with the environment without sacrificing your comfort.
An architectural project
Casa Dom is a project that was created by T+M Arquitectos – an architecture and design firm – with the idea of creating accommodation in San Miguel de Allende that, far from resembling the different rooms in the destination, would have its own character and personality. Therefore, you will realize that its construction is based on simplicity and nature, highlighting each element that this site offers, using it to its advantage.
Double-height vault with large windows
The result of this accommodation in San Miguel de Allende is a double-height vault built with cement-concrete and adorned with a huge iron window that will allow you to see the natural entrance of the sun in the mornings and the appearance of the moon and stars at night. Inside you will find a fully equipped ‘house’: a living room, a kitchen with a bar, a metal staircase that will take you to a suspended ceiling where the bed is located and access to the bathroom with a tub that you will want to use, believe me.
Grilled meat and romantic experiences on site
Outside there is a small pool of water so you can cool off when the temperatures rise considerably. There is also a small table for you to have breakfast or have someone else have breakfast if you are accompanied. But if cooking is your thing, there is also a grill where you can put the grilled meat on the fire and charcoal. It is important for you to know that the stay only has capacity for three people, however, as a super romantic plan it is the best option.
