This Wednesday, a citizen consultation will be held in the Historic Center of Querétaro, where merchants and residents of the first square of the city will be able to express their opinions on the decisions that have been made regarding the “Plan Orden” program, reported the municipal president, Felipe Fernando Macías Olvera.

In an interview, the president explained that the consultation will not address the application of the law, but will focus on the strategies implemented so far.

“We are going to consult the neighbors, established businesses and other key actors so that they can give us their points of view on what is expected for this year,” said Macías Olvera.

The main objective of this consultation is to continue with the commitment to keep the first square of the city free of street vendors. In this sense, Macías highlighted the importance of maintaining a constant dialogue and assured that the commitment of the administration is to work jointly with the actors of the Historic Center.

“It is essential to publicize these agreements and the dialogues that we are having with these groups,” he added.

Throughout the day, public officials will be present in the city’s main square, interacting directly with merchants, neighbors and other stakeholders to gather their opinions and continue building a more organized and participatory Querétaro.
