Within the framework of the National Security Strategy of the Government of Mexico, in the state of San Luis Potosí, members of the National Guard carry out proximity, security and crime prevention patrols.
The National Guardsmen intensify the surveillance circuits in the municipalities of Aquismón, Cedral, Tancanhuitz de Santos, Tanquián de Escobedo, Tampamolón and San Luis Potosí, in order to guarantee that the inhabitants live together in a healthy manner.
The members of the National Guard are present in parks, streets, shopping malls, markets and downtown areas, in order to maintain public order and strengthen ties with citizens.
The staff of this public security institution strengthens the culture of reporting and invites residents and visitors to use the 088 telephone number for citizen attention, where reports are received and complaints for possible crimes are channeled.
The National Guard reaffirms its commitment to contribute to the projects implemented by the Government of Mexico, to guarantee the peace and security of the population.
