A Bengal tiger specimen was seized on a ranch in the city of Palenque, the State Attorney General’s Office reported.
Investigative Police, in coordination with the Secretariat of Public Security and the Secretariat of National Defense, searched the “El Tigre” Ranch and found the feline.
The security agents carried out the operation required by a report of theft in the form of dismantling vehicles or selling them in whole or in parts, but they found no objects or evidence of that activity.

However, a Bengal tiger specimen was found and seized on the site, the Attorney General’s Office indicated.
The mammal was transferred by personnel from the Secretariat of National Defense, where it was kept under guard.
Regarding that activity, the Attorney General’s Office reaffirmed its commitment to continue guaranteeing security and peace in Chiapas.
