Executives of the Mexican company Lintel announced to Governor Tere Jiménez their decision to invest in the creation of a new industrial park in Aguascalientes. This complex will represent an investment of more than 1,700 million pesos and its construction will generate 750 jobs, both direct and indirect.
“This project will allow us to expand the capacity to receive new investments in Aguascalientes with world-class facilities; with this we will continue to consolidate ourselves as a highly competitive state and as an ideal destination to live and invest,” said the governor.
Likewise, she stressed that the State Government will continue working to generate the conditions that investors require to guarantee the success of their companies, especially in terms of security, regulatory improvement, water reuse, digital government, use of clean energy and talent development, among other areas.
Tere Jiménez specified that she will continue to promote her policy of attracting investments as a key element in the economic development of the state; He highlighted that in 2024 alone, Aguascalientes achieved a growth of 6.2%, well above the national average.
José Arturo Crespo Pavón, CFO and partner of Grupo Lintel, explained that the new development will be called San Marcos Valley, Aguascalientes Industrial Park and will be located in the south of the capital city; he said that the start of its operations is expected for early 2026.
He added that this industrial complex will be created on a surface of 140 hectares and will have the capacity to house national and foreign companies from the automotive, electronic components, technology and innovation, health, logistics and storage sectors, among others.
“This achievement cannot be explained in any other way than by the economic dynamism of the state of Aguascalientes combined with the vision, leadership and determination of its governor Tere Jiménez,” he said.
The municipal president of Aguascalientes, Leonardo Montañez Castro, thanked the investors for the confidence they have in this entity and especially in the capital municipality; He said that the City Council will do what it is required to guarantee quality public services. “Our job is not to hinder, but to facilitate,” he said.
Also present at the meeting held at the Government Palace were the head of the State Secretariat for Economic Development, Science and Technology (Sedecyt), Esaú Garza de Vega; Jorge Armando Llamas Esparza, general director of the State Energy Agency; Juan Jesús Jaime Romo, general director of the State Economic Development and Administration Trust; Adrián Lugo Astiazarán, CEO and partner of the Lintel Group; Martín Millán Ramos, manager of Special Projects and leader of the project; Guillermo Reed Frausto, general director of Investment of the Sedecyt; in addition to officials from the Federal Electricity Commission, among other authorities.
