Los Cabos International Airport recorded a decrease in the number of passengers during 2024, with a total of 7.4 million users, representing a drop of 300 thousand passengers compared to the 7.7 million reached in 2023.
Despite this drop, the airport remains among the three busiest in Mexico, confirming its importance as one of the main tourist access points in the country.
To reverse this trend, airport and tourism sector authorities are implementing various strategies, such as the opening of new international routes and promotional campaigns in key markets.
These actions are expected to help recover and exceed passenger numbers in the coming years, consolidating Los Cabos as one of the preferred destinations both nationally and internationally.
