Given the low temperatures that have been recorded in recent days in the states of Chihuahua and Durango, personnel from the Mexican Army and the National Guard have deployed surveillance and support actions for the affected populations.

In the case of the communities of Chihuahua, the military distributed bread and hot drinks in that state.

“During this activity, coffee and bread distribution modules were established in hospitals and bus terminals,” which benefited more than 400 women, children and senior citizens.

These activities are part of the implementation of the DN-III-E Plan during the winter season in the state of Chihuahua.

Meanwhile, in Durango, members of the National Guard implemented security and accident prevention operations on roads where snowfall is recorded, due to the presence of cold front number 24.

The national guardsmen implement security and surveillance tours on roads affected by the freezing of the asphalt and the accumulation of snow.

On the Puerto México-Ojo Caliente highway, in a section known as Los Chorros in the municipality of Arteaga, an alternate route was implemented starting at kilometer 202.
