The Federal Roads and Bridges Department of Revenue and Related Services (Capufe) reported that intermittent closures to traffic on the Mexico-Querétaro highway will continue.
This is due to the transfer of reactors from Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
Through a statement, Capufe indicated that the new closures will be on January 28, 29 and 30, between kilometers 107 and 132.
- January 28, from kilometer 132 to 119
- January 29 and 30, from kilometer 119 to 107
The journey will last from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. approximately, heading towards Mexico City.
It added that during the advance of the reactors, an average speed of five to 15 kilometers per hour will be maintained.
Therefore, he recommended planning their travel times or taking alternate routes such as the free Mexico-Querétaro highway, as well as respecting road signs and instructions from security personnel.
“These tasks will generate intermittent closures to traffic, for the removal of structures or signs that affect their passage,” he said.
The intermittent closure to traffic also took place on Monday, January 27, starting at 10:00 p.m. and until approximately 1:00 a.m. The affected kilometers were from 145 to 132.
